We-wood makes watches, made of wood. If you didn't catch that already! I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. I think they make a perfect Christmas present. I am so glad they sent one for me. I am giving it to Noah for Christmas. Since he is not home he doesn't know about it and it will be a big surprise. I am super excited. The watches retail from $139.00 to $119.00. They are not cheap, but not too expensive as to be unattainable. There is so much detail and work that goes into making these watches. I especially like that for each watch bought, a tree is planted. We-wood is all about being green, and sustainability. The first 3 months WEwood planted 5,000 trees! That's amazing! I am such a tree hugger. I get upset when my husband cuts down trees in our own backyard! I'm 100% serious! Preserving our environment is so important and hats off  watches off to WEwood for helping out in that aspect.

The baby of an Italian shoe dude who loves watches and two eco-smart entrepreneurs with a crush on the environment, WE fashions wooden timepieces from mostly scrap-wood and uses state-of-the-art Miyota movements for the guts, resulting in a unique watch that's handsome, earth-friendly, and splash-proof.

The first timepiece was designed in Florence, Italy (2010) and with the widespread craving for newstalgia and eco-friendly ethos, WEwood hit the scene as the avant-garde approach to sophisticated sustainability. A few months later, WEwood opened a branch in Los Angeles, CA and teamed up with tree-planting-partner, American Forests.

With this happy pact, the goal is to help restore Mother Nature, one watch at a time, by planting a tree for every WeWOOD purchased. In just the first three months, WEwood planted 5,000 trees with American Forests, and sets challenging targets for 2011 and beyond. Keeping forests healthy and happy keeps us healthy and happy, we like to keep our reminder on our wrist.
