#Diamond Candles GIVEAWAY!

I applied for a Diamond Candles campaign, and was so thrilled to be picked! Diamond Candles is an innovative company founded last year about a year ago in Jan 2011. Since then, they have gained respect and admiration as a leading candle company (& site) with a very impressive 68,297 facebook following and currently as of today have 1,945 people "talking about this" and that's wonderful! Good for them! What a smart idea! For those who don't know what they do/are I am about to school you!
Diamond candles has these luxiously frgrant and creamy soy candles. Each candle contains a diamond ring inside, in values of
increments of$10, $100, $1,000, and $5,000!
You can see where in the candle the ring is located on the side of the jar (some are further down than others by my estimations of viewing pictures of other  customers candles online.
Diamond Candles is such a unique company.  Yes, they are a candle company - and an eco-friendly one at that! All of their candles are made with 100% soy candles and not from petroleum based parrafin wax, bees wax, or palm wax.  Each candle is 6 inches tall, 3.5 inches in diameter, and weigh about 3 pounds.  They are available nine delicious scents ranging from "Apple Slice" to "Lavender Lemon".  There's also a scentless option for those who love candles but dislike or are sensitive to scents.A Christmas Sample pack is 124.95, and they have other value packs (varieties) as well! I didn't get to choose what I was sent, which is dangerous-- because I am slightly picky about scents, and despise Cinnamon Apple scented things. Dangerous game don'tcha think Diamond Candles? Thank goodness the scent provided was soooo deliciously scented! I was sent the scent called
Diamond Candles 21 oz. Fresh Snow Large Jar Candle

About this scent
A crisp, naturally fresh scent that reminds you of snow days and crisp winter mornings. Peppermint, patchouli, and eucalyptus to be more specific. Fancy hat, scarf, and cane sold separately.

Burn time
125-160 hours of fragrance.

About our candles
Our soy candles are earth friendly all natural soy, use jars that you can reuse for many other purposes after you candle is burned, and we put a ring worth $10, $100, $1000, or $5000 inside every candle (see rings people have found in their candles here).

All the candles sold individually are 24.95! Whether or not you get a real ring or not is kind-of irrelevant. Most fake rings sell for 10$ anyway, and most candle this size and this quality are about 20$ and up. Mostly up. LOL! Anyway, yes of course I was disappointed to find my ring was of low value, and I figured it would be. I am sure Diamond Candles knows which candles have the more expensive rings in them. Wouldn't they? Maybe not... either way I am very curious to see whether any other bloggers rings are stamped Made in CHINA.
LOL! I guess I really knew I wouldn't get the diamond ring in mine, I am sort-of unlucky like that. Or maybe I am just a pessimist.. *ponders*.
I wonder how many candles you would have to buy to get an expensive one, is it like playing the lottery? Sounds addicting. It would be especially addicting- I am sure, if you ended up with a $500, $1000, or even greater valued ring inside. What are the odds that you would get an expensive ring I wonder? How many expensive rings vs how many cheap rings? Super curious about these numbers. Perhaps that is my analytical side coming out. Nice!
Anyway, that's probably the first and only time it will appropriate to use that word in one of my posts. Ha!
I  like the ring though- it is growing on me.
Thanks to the growing online community if you don't like your ring you can trade it or sell it so you really have nothing to lose.
As for the burning part, well apparently I am also impatient, and so is the hubby. We pulled it out with pliers when it was almost melted. Yes.. I was that kid that unwrapped and re-wrapped their presents at Christmas .... and got caught. I am an impatient analytical pessimist!
Oh it keeps getting better. I am on a roll!

While I liked the ring; I was rather disappointed in the whole timing and rafflecopter of this giveaway. I was under the assumption that this would be a single giveaway to MY readers, not fair game all across the board for all entrants. That really messes up you guys odds. Heck a winner from LoE might not even get one. Which I think sucks, having a shared Rafflecopter Widget. You guys get to enter once, instead of multiple giveaways. Then, there was some confusion and the Rafflecopter widget started before most of us even got our candles. Then, since it is already live, I have to rush to post it. I normally have a product 2-4 weeks before I can post about it. I have a rather busy family life, and blog schedule, and since this giveaway ends rather (soon-ish) they "jump in line" so to speak in front of all my other sponsors and clients right now. Which is a little unfair to them, since I have had their product in hand for weeks, and diamond candles came in the mail just yesterday. All in all though- I would recommend this product and I do love the candle, and will probably give the ring to my mother-- it is much more her style. I don't have any green rings around my finger (yet) and I like this service they are offering and think its ingenious. I would love to try more scents and there are quite a few I really like!
Although there are many- I will tell you a few, to see the rest of the scents, just visit their site using the links in this post!

Here's what I would've liked to have been sent:

  • Carnival Candy
  • CUPCAKE
  • DUSK
  • GingerBread Latte
  • PUMPKIN CHAI
  • Pecan pie
  • SUNWASHED
  • Vanilla Cream
  • White Chocolate
