Scholastic Discover More: Dinosaurs   by Penelope Arlon scholastic

Scholastic Discover More: Dinosaurs   by Penelope Arlon

Favorite topics in active and interactive print and digital books, specially designed for newly confident readers.

This book costs around $12

Although Giana (age 7) hasn't yet started learning about dinosaurs in school, naturally- she knows what they are and has a growing curiosity in them. This book is large and filled with vivid full color pictures that are alarming realistic! I'm so glad we don't live in that time-era, dinosaurs scare me!
I like them better in a museum as bones only.
:)
I like knowing that we'll have this book on hand for future school projects and studies as I am sure it will be used very soon!

Within the last five years, more has been discovered about dinosaurs than ever before. By commissioning brand new digital images and talking to 'in the field' paleontologists, DINOSAURS is not only up-to-date, but stunning to look at. The book is ordered chronologically and gives the best, current information about which dinosaurs lived when, and what each was like. Details of the fossil record encourages budding paleontologists to think about why we know what we know, and make discoveries for themselves. The book ends with an interview with a dinosaur expert, a look at some dino record breakers, and insight into what happened to the dinosaurs. Is it possible that we still live with dinosaurs today?

I do recommend the purchase and thorough read of this book: Scholastic Discover More: Dinosaurs   by Penelope Arlon. My daughter Giana enjoyed it immensely. It's never too soon to start learning about stuff, why wait on the school to teach it to them? Have them prepared before-hand!
