The mystery of the Shrinking Chicken Finger....

This might be a job for Scooby and Shaggy..

Can someone please tell me what is going on with the mystery of the shrinking chicken finger? It's so frustrating.
Ok .. Ok.. I have been meaning to post about this for a WHILE now.
Actually this draft was saved over 2 years ago. before I even started doing giveaways. Actually- waaayyy before

My husband defends it- and says they give you a certain weight.. I say *sneeze*cough*"Bull_achoo_shit!*cough*

Even if that were true, the weight of all 4 or if your lucky 5 of these tiny strips they serve EVERYWHERE now-a-days is not equivalent to ONE of the chicken fingers I would eat as a teenager. What happened? More importantly.. why do we keep buying them?

Why not call and complain EVERY single freeking time.

I'm going to be honest with you. The only place I know to go and get REAL chicken fingers, like I used to eat it the 90s - is at the WalMart Deli. They avg about 1$ a Piece. You can get the biggest fattest sack of chicken fingers for the same price you can any restaurant that claims they serve chicken fingers.

No they  don't serve chicken fingers. They serve some BS.
They fill you up with fries.
 Its a tease.

Why... oh why do we let them- is the the question....

I swear it just keeps getting smaller.
One day when we go in restaurants they are going to give us marble sized balls of chicken. And charge us eight dollars for it.
They act like chicken is Prime Rib or something, Always tryin to make 500% profit off of stuff and cut corners here and there so they can buy more advertising. I know, I have worked in restaurants. They used to gripe at us for giving lemons out. LMAO.
A 10 cent lemon. No- I am sorry, a slice of a 10 cent lemon. That prob cost 1cent.
Seriously.
Omg. *rolling eyes*

Zaxbys is about the worst. Which is bad because all they serve is chicken!
They are so tiny. Tasty- yes.. very tasty.. Rip-off? Heck yes.

What kills me (and this is all food serving chicken-wanna-be places) is they make it look like on the menu they are going to serve you some chicken. But they don't. It doesn't even matter if you go to a sit down with a waitress and pay 9$ for your chicken fingers restaurant. You are still going to be served microscopic tiny, little bitty chicken fingers.

Just beware 'yall.
Just sayin.

I'm even going to show you some back in the day pics... and some what you get now-a-days pics.
Then, I'm going to show you some of the advertised menu pics.
And then what they serve you.
*See if you can tell the difference.*

Back in the Day ....

Advertised ....

 What you get....
Nowadays... (the fries toast & dipping container are bigger! wtheck?

I mean come on... they are the same size as the baby carrots!

Since when are there more fries than chicken? For 6 or 7$

~Nope- Shaggy & Scooby don't know what the hell is going on!~

i think water is added to the chicken before its sold so that it will weigh more and the chicken companies can make more money.. then when you cook it the water evaporates? hell idk, that is just my hypothesis. lmao!

I found you from the Weekend Blog Hop. I am a Scooby Doo fan. I was vegetarian for many years and am now going back to that after eating only chicken and fish with a bit of red meat. I find that I feel better eating that way, but I know that's not for everyone. I also do that for ethical reasons. If you really want some good chicken though, you can try Whole Foods. It is more expensive, but healthy and tasty and morally the chickens are treated better. This is my lifestyle, which works for me, but again, I know it won't for some people. I am happy to being going back to my vegetarian roots again.

I am a writer of dark fiction. Hope to see you stop by my blog.
