Here's what we thought of the JULY box (pictured above!)
Three packs of Mighty Leaf, delicious handcrafted tea blends from around the world. MY FAVORITE new item. I am a coffee fanatic. I usually get samples of chamomile tea, and they always taste nasty. I assumed it was the chamomile I didn't like. Apparently not. This tea I didn't have high hopes for. I'm such a pessimist. To put it simply: I am not a hot tea drinker. I was raised in the South, and we drink Iced Tea. I even put ice in my coffee (though NOW I will drink it hot) in any case, hot tea is NOT my cup of tea. It is simply fascinating I enjoyed this tea as much as I did. Out of five stars, I give it 500. I actually considered purchasing it online, but I hate paying shipping costs. Lucky for me I found it on the shelf (TODAY!) at my local Publix, I sure enough bought it for $7.99. (25 bags)
The tea comes in intricate mesh/cloth weaved satchels, sewed with real threads: it's so fancy! I feel luxuriously pampered drinking it. It has whole green tea leaves and real bits of fruit in them. The best one was the Chamomile Citrus Mighty leaf and the Peach (also included) was also scrumptious. There was also an Earl Gray. They also carry (not included) a jasmine and an African nectar that I would LOVE to try!

Molecule R
"A natural emulsifier that allows liquids to transform into foam, making your sauces light, voluminous, and incredibly flavorful." I have yet to try this. The brochure was long and (sorry!) boring, and confusing. I tried to read it and figure it out, but I went all ADHD on it, and put it away and forgot about it. I wasn't sure if this was a thickening agent for soaps, or what to do with it, and I still don't...A natural liquid Vitamin B-12 supplement helping to combat chronic fatigue, regulate metabolic pathways, and maintain the central nervous system. I received a little "shot" of b12, and I was expecting it to taste nasty! it didn't. It tastes really good. Gave me a bunch of energy too, and definitely a product I would use again!
Truvia® natural sweetener is the first natural, great-tasting, zero-calorie sweetener born from the leaves of the stevia plant. Try it in coffee and tea, sprinkle it on fruit, yogurt and cereal and add it to anything that needs a little sweetness. I have always loved Truvia. I have bought it numerous times and the little box of packets was too cute. Especially since I drink coffe constantly I appreciated the coupon that was included in it, and especially the coupons very far-off expiration date. That's important to me. I like to plan out my coupons well in advance. I despise 'short-term" (that's what I call them...) coupons.
I used these packets in my Mighty Leaf Tea. Truvia is better for you than other sugar substitutes. Fact.
Nia
A movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts, and healing arts. Nia has created a customized class for KLUTCHclub members and their guests this month, worth over $50! Sadly, this was something I also wouldn't use. it is money saving coupons for workout gear. However- I own enough workout gear, and since it wasn't free, I couldn't justify using it. I still have it if anyone wants it. First to holler on my Facebook page will get it.
Zoye
Zoye Oil is a healthy vegetable oil low in saturated fat, and rich in Vitamin E and Omega 3 and 6. I used this to cook Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry and it was quite delish. Recipe below review. One word: YUM!Facebook.com/zoye.oil
Mineral Hygenics
This makeup contains four ingredients and is 100% all natural, allowing your skin breathe in hot summer months. Included is a $15 gift certificate with no purchase restrictions! Mineral Hygienics review & giveaway IRONICALLY will be posted tomorrow here on L of E so look for that. It was incredibly ironic that a coupon for Mineral Hygienics was included in the Klutch Club.I sure wish I could've picked the box that was sent, the August Klutchclub box would've been a better fit. I know for a fact that Aloe Juice in that box is AMAZING (I've had it before, years ago) and also, I had to pay shipping for the item. Now, being that the shipping was 7$ for one lipstick.... I did feel that a tad bit unfair. My shipping from the Disney store was only 4.50. For a box of clothes. That doesn't seem right. It was so hot outside I expected the lipstick to be melted. Luckily, it was intact. It super pretty! I picked shade Champagne. I guess it was cool, since I didn't get any lipstick with the MH review. All I got was their powder, which is why I didn't use this coupon to purchase powder. They sent me like 10 already. Ok, facetious, probably 6 or 7.

Goulibeur
Gourmet shortbread cookies made with just four natural ingredients. This 100-year old recipe comes from France and can be the perfect, delicious finish to a summer party. These cookies, I got one little bite of, and my 2 year old promptly snatched. What I did taste- I thoroughly enjoyed. They reminded me of the cookies your (OK.... MY) Grandmother used to always have sitting around that came in the metal blue tin... You know- and the cookies all tasted the same, but looked different? They came "wrapped" in cupcake sleeves (for some strange reason) well, long-story-short; the grandma cookies tasted like these. Only these are much more delicious. Two thumbs up from me. Devonny clearly liked them, she demolished the entire package in record time. I loved the fact that they only have 4 natural ingredients. In today's day & age where so many things you can't pronounce are in our foods, this is a rare and honorable trait to have among foods.Facebook.com/goulibeur : " Klutch clubbers get your on-line discount while it lasts..whats the code...ok...lean in.....the code is...Klutch1....get them while they last! Discounts in our French tins - makes perfect hostess gifts for your next party and our perfectly sized sticks for coffee or cocktails!www.bretongourmet.com "
Cascal
At 60-80 calories per can, Cascal is a great substitute for sugary soda. This natural soft drink is crafted with natural juices and fermented for fuller flavor. Fermented soda: umm.. not so much. Thank goodness (surprisingly) Giana (my 7 year old) LOVED it. I was shocked, really. I tasted it... and it did taste The August Box in all it's glory! |
So in conclusion,
some stuff I loved, and some did not. Just because I love it, doesn't mean you will. Just because I didn't love it, doesn't mean you won't. But I do recommend trying out Klutchclub. I think it's super neat how you get a sampling of things you might've not gotten to try or noticed otherwise. I would have never picked up a box of tea with Chamomile, let alone a 8$ box of it. But I am glad I did, because even though I am
I love how healthy the box encourages you to be.
So you may be wondering:"How much does the Klutchclub sampling program cost?"
The cost - what a steal!!!
