Here's to the Heroes! Free Admission into many parks throughout the year 2012 for servicemen & families.

"Here's to the Heroes" is a tribute to the men and women of our armed forces. Active duty and reserve soldiers, airmen, Marines, sailors and Coast Guardsmen, as well as foreign military personnel serving with U.S. units, qualify.

Valid for one complimentary single-day admission per person, per year, during the regular operating schedules at one of the following: SeaWorld Orlando, San Diego, or San Antonio, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or Williamsburg, Sesame Place, Water Country USA, Adventure Island. Not valid at Discovery Cove and Aquatica. Christmas Town at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va. is not included as part of this program. Christmas Town at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA and A Very Furry Christmas at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA is not included as part of this program.

Offer valid through 12/31/2012. Operating days and hours vary by park. Please check with specific park for current operating schedule. 

Any active duty, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman is entitled to free admission under the Here's to the Heroes program. He or she need only register, either by clicking here and submitting his or her information or in the entrance plaza of participating parks, and show a Department of Defense photo ID. As part of the Here’s to Heroes program the active duty, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman are entitled to three guests. The guest MUST BE direct dependents of the military personnel and have a valid dependent Department of Defense ID. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member though a family member must accompany minor dependents, and dependent ages 10 and over must present valid dependent Department of Defense I.D.

Operation Purple camps offer a free week of summer fun for military kids with parents who have been, are currently, or will be deployed. The goal of the Operation Purple camp program is to give military children tools to help deal with the stresses that result from a parent’s deployment, through a memorable camp experience in a “purple” environment. Operation Purple camps are open to military children of all ranks and Services: active and reserve components—and give priority to children whose parents are in a deployment phase between September 2011 and December 2012.

Camps will be held in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, North Carolina, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and West Virginia.
