Highway Robbery by @CharterCom

Welcome home!!!

Charters new customer lineup is crap as far as welcoming goes. I have 1 "discounted year" and... well- it is pretty cheap, as well as some high speed internet.. BUT

Since I recently moved to a new place, have had Charter Cable Internet Service less than 1 week, and received a bill in the mail for 60$. I gasped inward. Please tell me they are not serious. Must be a mistake, right?

Called them - tried to get it pro-rated.. she said it was for "installation fees" when all they had to do was run a daggum cord from outside. Then went on to state that the bill is for the time of service, the 21st, through the 20th of the next month. Oh really? Then why the hell is it due in a week.... BEFORE the billing cycle even ends?

IMHO Charter being a huge big name brand should have more welcoming practices for new customers, such as prorating bills, and not charging"set-up" fees. I know that TDS as well as other smaller companies, offer many promotional aspects for new customers, including discounted months, Free Televisions, or small free laptops.

Not to mention the customer service wasn't friendly.
I will be changing my internet ASAP!!!!

@zaggora Once Upon a Time - A long time ago...

A long time ago I posted about Zaggora Hotpants. A little over a year ago, actually. :-)

I think originally I was unsure of them, slightly skeptical. But as time wears on and on I have become the biggest fan to this brand!!  I wear them all the time.

They have paid me for my time before, so it's not without saying that I don't get something from them. I have also gotten free products. BUT I am not being paid to post or given a product this time. But the best part is: you can get their free products too! Especially if you are active on Facebook, because they have giveaways there all the time. PLUS I even won a FB giveaway recently for the "Join My Team" which I got really cool Lets Get Hot top  in gray, just for inviting (well, they had to join the contest & invite too) friends to join it.
I think only personally got 5 people to do it, and still got a free tank :-)
You just had to be in the top 100 or so people to get one.
Not too bad, right?

The average cost is 75-100$ for their fabulous workout clothes. A little pricey, but you pay for quality as well. Plus the brand is born and operated out of the UK, so in the USA I have to pay to ship also.  Their shipping used to be slower but now it is SUPER FAST, plus their email blast offers coupon codes now (but not too many) so def go signup at the website if you are interested in taking the 2 week test. You can read about the 2 week tests here: on their blog, Zaggora Girl.

Anyway- as I go to put on my Most Loved Zaggora Capris in hot pink, or my very first black pair. I gotta appreciate this brand and this brands workout clothes functionality. It is dual (or TRIPLE) action by being a way to rid cellulite through compression, and help you sweat to burn more fat - plus being easy to workout in also!

I love how they have expanded their brand to offer not only the pants, but different varieties of the pants and colors, and designs, as well as regular tops not made of the neoprene material- like the shirt I won (pictured on me below) which is cotton.  Plus I love the new design Viva Capri that mimics the classic VS pink holdover yoga band pants..  Celebrities also love Zaggora, and they are featured in the press all the time. They make great gifts for holidays and birthdays as well. I'd be tickled to get them! They encourage me to workout more, because I know they are working.

DISCLOSURE:  Again, no product or compensation was offered to me this time- for this post. I posted because I like the brand. (:

Pennington Smart Feed via Bzzagent #gotITfree

I recently got the opportunity to sample a new product through Bzzagent. It is called the Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer system. Since trying it I have also found it at Lowes for around ten bucks. You need the starter system at first, and can buy refillable discs later. (Available in 4 discs per tube) This saves precious cabinet space in my garage,

The Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System retails for a suggested price of $12.99, while the Smart Feed refill tablets start at $9.99.  Hopefully- they will run coupons for this product in the paper of 2.50 or more off.

So, what it is, in a nutshell: is a nozzle head that you attach to your garden hose! Pretty nifty because it has a cavity that you fill with these blue discs, that dissolve in water. Each disc should treat an average sized garden for a while. So there is no measuring, no mixing- and my garden has never looked better!!

It was easy to screw on the hose, easy to load the discs, and it was also fun. It made my gardening less of a chore, and I got to say, I quite like the "mixing action" how you get to watch the water swirl around in the head of the new nozzle and mix the plant food into the water.

I especially appreciated that there are 3 varieties of this system available. So you have a proven blend for whatever your need is!
  • All Purpose
  • Tomato & Vegetable
  • Flower & Bloom

The best part is the head has different spray patterns, so you don't have to switch out the hose nozzle/head. So whenever your not using the Pennington Smart Feed sprayer system, you don't have to switch back and forth to your old nozzle head in order to get a high pressure soak for the car, or a light shower to rinse the kids feet off, or whatever you use your hose for. :)

If no mixing, no measuring, no mess and bigger, better results doesn’t explain it all, this video will:

My only issue was with the nozzle. It seems like it could use a bit more thought, it seemed hard to use after a while, leaky- and possibly have to be replaced and not withstanding to the water pressure, sun and kids and time. Sadly.

Disclosure: I received the Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System through Bzzagent.  All opinions are 100% mine and not influenced in any way.

Kids Decals for school or whatever you need them for!

I know that school is not yet out. But already I am ready to put away the lunchboxes and bento boxes and not look at them for a few more months. And when I do put them away- you can bet I'll be putting these neat labels I found in there with them! I used these kinds of labels this & last year for school lunches, pencil boxes, field trips, and recreational activities. And I love them.

It keeps me from marking up her stuff with markers, so they are identifiable with other children's belongings ... so that's always a plus!

Besides, you get to pick how they look- kinda customization for your child. Cool- huh?
Best of all, they are durable & water-proof. You heard right. No worries!!!
(I also really like their key-cals for computer keyboards. ------>

Personalized Kids Name Labels:
Kidecals are an absolute must if you've got kids and hate losing their stuff. Label water bottles, clothing, books, toys, sports gear with their trendy and fun designs.  kidecals are crazy durable...dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe, and they don't damage surfaces. Love it.
Waterproof Labels:
The annoying thing about using a sharpie to label stuff is it eventually washes away. Kidecals waterproof name labels are insanely durable and can stick to just about anything...from clothes to water bottles...and stay put through wash after wash after wash. Oh - and pool toys? Done and DONE.
Fun Mustache Stickers:
My kids are crazy for anything with a mustache, and frankly so am I. We love kidecals fun Partystache stickers to use as drink markers, and the Mustache Chalkboard Stickers are a sassy way to label/organize anything in your pantry or craft room. (They're also fun for labeling foods or drinks at a potluck or party!)
Chalkboard Labels that you can write on:
Chalkboard labels are the easiest way to get organized fast without having to create new printed labels from scratch.  kidecals makes the prettiest designs, and their chalkboard labels are super durable and can even go through the dishwasher!
Daycare Labels:
If you have kids in daycare then you know how important it is to label EVERYTHING. kidecals daycare labels are not just super cute, they're dishwasher, washing machine and dryer safe, and stay put on anything from clothing, to baby's favorite lovey to sippy and snack cups.
As seen on the Today Show personalized clothing labels:
kidecals is such a fun site for personalized clothing labels! Now that I'm getting ready to send my kids off to camp, I'm super picky about how I'm labeling everything. Labels HAVE to be waterproof and washing machine safe. No sharpies for me. kidecals clothing labels are crazy durable and I love their cute designs. They were even featured on the Today Show!
Camp Labels:
It's obvious kidecals is founded by a mother of two boys, because not only are kidecals designs amazingly cute er - "cool" for boys, they are super duper durable for all the stuff I need to label for camp. kidecals are dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe. They literally do not come off. Ever. kidecals makes the perfect camp labels for this mom, who is expecting her kids to return with every single thing she packed. (yeah right.)

KidSwitch Light Switch Extender

I don't know about you, but my kids are Kidspiration. My children inspire me to never grow up everyday. But they have to grow up. Being little is tough, everyone is bigger than you, they get to go on all the fun rides at the fair, the water slides... ect ect. They can reach the faucet in the bathroom w/o a stool... and the light switches without help. And a lot of that stuff, they have to play the waiting game. But some of these issues, you can help them with. It is the millennium after all, we can find an invention for anything. Which is why I wasn't surprised to find this:

Kidswitch is a neat little invention that makes it easy for your toddler or little one to turn the light on and off.
The best part is: KidSwitch glows in the dark! It's makes it easier and safer for your children to turn their lights on and off. It works for both toggle and decora switches. To attach it to a toggle switch, remove the screws from your lightswitch faceplate, place the KidSwitch, and then screw in the new screws provided. To install a decora switch, all you have to do is stick on an adapter. No screws at all. You can buy the original moon KidSwitch OR KidSwitch’s new adorable My Style toggles with super cute characters online at www.KidSwitchShop.com.

I think Kidswitch is a really neat invention. It takes mere seconds to install and would be easy for a small child to understand. The fact that it glows in the dark makes it easier for the child to make their way to the light-switch in a dark room (or yourself).

Prices? $8.95 for a toggle, and $9.95 for a decora. Use code blog10 to get 10% off at check out! PLUS you get FREE Shipping on all orders of $20 or more! In order to spend 20$ you'd get 3 packs (bedroom, hallway and bathroom) so your child would be confident in their abilities to reach the light switch in all the main rooms your child uses daily. They also offer multi-packs at great prices. You can purchase them at the KidSwitch website. Even better? There is a KidSwitch for any kind of switch! Don't believe me? Check out the website now: Kidswitch  Since 1995.  Providing a Helping Hand to Little Ones and Their Parents!

The creator/inventor of Kidswitch had this to say about his neat affordable product: "Energy saving habits that can be learned at the toddler age that will stick for a lifetime. Being able to turn on and OFF their lights enable this habit. Empowering toddlers is the greatest thing a parent can do and it rewarding for both child and parent" Well said Greg & Wendy O'Sullivan!!!

Greg, actually invented it for their oldest daughter, Taylor.  To learn more about the inspiration for KidSwitch, please read "The KidSwitch Story." on their website.
From 1995 through 2007, they sold over 400,000 switches!

Helping your child reach the moon!~ (and the light-switch!)
