I gotta say, I don't think this product is for us.
I know companies like us to say that the product is a great fit for us, and it's wonderful, and it may be: for some.
For me, I found the "gel" to be more of a sticky paste. Which is actually what its supposed to do, coat the surface to protect it for a long time.

Usually when we get "boo boos" I wipe them with a baby wipe and keep on going. They are rarely significant enough to require a band-aid even. After all, the skin heals itself with scabs natures band-aids. If ever there is a serious enough cut (which KNOCK ON WOOD) there haven't been, then I might need an ointment, perhaps after a trip to the emergency room for stitches and/or burn care. If you are the kind of mom who doctors every boo-boo, (I just kiss ours away, even in yucky you dont want to kiss places, like feet and rear ends..lol) then you might have more use for it than I did. I'm not going to lie, we haven't used it often. My girls are extremely girly, and they dont get hurt much! it's nice to know it's in my cabinet if I ever need it though.

Now I did test it on my skin, just to see. When I think gel-- I think like sanitizer  something that evaporates quickly. This left a sticky coating on my fingertips. It was hard to wash off my hands too. Perhaps on a skinned knee not so bad?
I'm not saying the product doesn't work at all: I'm only saying it wasn't for me.
When I am asked to review something  I always give my whole hearted honest to god, opinion, and I'm sorry to say that this is it for now.
Should it be later down the line I eat my words, then get me a spoon.
Most Moms are probably not like me, but I think we just didn't have a need for this product. had it been more of a "gel" then I might use it more often. It is definitely reminiscent of petroleum jelly with its consistency.
I do appreciate the opportunity to review it, and one day we might need it!
