#holidayGiftGuide REVIEW of HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA by GAMEMILL -- #NintendoDS new release

Nintendo Games -- Hotel Transylvania

I was so excited to get to review this game. My Dad bought my little girl a Nintendo DSi for Christmas last year, and it has been well played by her on almost a daily basis, so it should go without saying she loves getting new games for it.

She was especially excited for this game, since we are going to go see it in theaters this weekend!
We are also going to watch Wreck It Ralph, so this will be a magical weekend for her, as we've never seen TWO movies in one weekend!

The game was a little challenging for her, but she'll get it. She's not played very many arcade style games such as this, and her reaction time is slightly slow for a game as advanced as this (she's only 7, and only been playing games a year..) But I had no issues playing it whatsoever!

Actually.. in all honesty this game is very reminiscent of old computer games I used to enjoy as a child, such as Duke Nukem, Jazz Jackrabbit, and especially Jill of the Jungle!
If you have ever played that old IBM game Jill of the Jungle, you know exactly what I am talking about. This is like it revived, and with cooler characters! Since the main character lead being played by a girl character and especially with her turning into a bat (in Jill of the Jungle she turned into a bird).. it really brought back old memories for me.

I think any kid would enjoy playing this game, as it has great graphics, and is very engaging and entertaining. It's challenging without being too hard, and there are many different backgrounds, screens, and other characters to defeat!

I especially loved the quality of the images, that's very impressive GameMill!!!!   Wowed both my husband and I, or blew us out of the water really. This might be the cutest game she's ever played/owned...
In the game, when Mavis transforms into the ghost and bat it is very detailed and really good CGI, I gotta say!!!

I love how the game incorporates the movies background characters into the background of the game.

Mavis is believable as the hero, and my daughter loves this game.
She has been playing it everyday for about 2 weeks, and hasn't gotten tired of it yet!

Peep "Stake out" the links in this post to find all things hotel Translyvania, such as the movie's website, their Twitter and FaceBook page links, + you'll even find a few links to  games on FB..
