My Review of this movie!

It's amazing how realistic the animation on Pixar films has become. I swear even movies with actual people in them weren't as realistic as cartoons can be today!

The movie starts out good, grabs you by the seat and takes you on a fun, fast paced story that shows you how Mike and Sully actually met and became friends.

This movie was sad, but leave it to Disney to get right to the bottom of your heart and tug on your heartstrings. My kids were completely captivated while watching this movie. I remember hearing it was coming out over a year ago- and being so SO excited. Monsters Inc is one of my favorite "non-princess" Disney films. Even though it is Pixar, it is also DISNEY-Pixar now.
Or maybe it was always. I have a throbbing headache that is about to turn into a migraine.
Somebody call a doctor- a nurse.. heck anybody!
I always thought, wow if they did a sequel to that movie- it would be awesome! SO naturally- I jumped at the chance to review this BlockBuster BluRay set for the girls.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. Disney’s “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.
Download Monstrous Halloween Activities
One of the early concept drawings of an early Mike in college was dated 2008, which goes to show you just how long this Monsters Inc prequel has actually been in development. It’s kind of amazing that we only learned that it would be a prequel story-line earlier this year. To give you an idea of the timeline, Ratatouille was just completed when they began concept work for this film — it was that long ago.

I also heard that Pixar toured actual college campuses to prepare for the story and animation for this movie! Little facts like that are so neat, ot to mention impressive that much work goes into a movie. It's the little details, things you would never think. But it makes sense.

Mom and Dad will love hearing familiar voices of John Goodman, Billy Crystal and Steve Buscemi! My kids kept talking about the movie for days, giggling at parts of it at breakfast the next day over waffles!

In college you meet many different interesting and sometimes strange characters, and MU is no different. There are all sorts of monsters; frat monsters, nerd monsters and goth monsters, as well as an assortment of Monster professors.

Facts about movie found on:"Slashfilm.com"

Well that concludes my review of this 3 disc set, BluRay, Standard Def, and Digital Copy of Monsters University by Disney Pixar, and if you can't tell.. we totally loved it!

If you take our word for it. Buy this movie now! I left links to purchase on Amazon, Walmart & Target!

@PowerMyLearning is one of the best sites I have seen for free educational game compilations

I absolutely LOVED that this site PowerMyLearning is free!!

Not only do a lot of sites have high membership dues, or "free trials" which you soon forget you even subscribed for.... That is, until you get the non-refundable 19.99 charge on your debit card bill.. Yeaaahh- y'all know what I am talking about, don't you?

As I was saying, not only is it 100% free, and free is a GOOD thing--  but in addition: lot of sites worry me, because of the Ads on sidebars which could have viruses and/or tracking cookies, not to mention things inappropriate for children, at times. Even the best of sites like Disney and Nick have these.

Bottom line: You don't know a sites safety without sitting hours researching  Even if you do, you'd have to sit on top of an eight year old the entire time they were on the computer to make sure they don't stray that mouse clicker to questionable sites. Now, this may sound bad- but let us have a moment of honesty here: a lot of the times I let my daughter on the computer to get her out of my hair and get stuff done.. and neither of those feats can be accomplished if I have to monitor her every click on the computer.

Kids Decals for school or whatever you need them for!

I know that school is not yet out. But already I am ready to put away the lunchboxes and bento boxes and not look at them for a few more months. And when I do put them away- you can bet I'll be putting these neat labels I found in there with them! I used these kinds of labels this & last year for school lunches, pencil boxes, field trips, and recreational activities. And I love them.

It keeps me from marking up her stuff with markers, so they are identifiable with other children's belongings ... so that's always a plus!

Besides, you get to pick how they look- kinda customization for your child. Cool- huh?
Best of all, they are durable & water-proof. You heard right. No worries!!!
(I also really like their key-cals for computer keyboards. ------>

Personalized Kids Name Labels:
Kidecals are an absolute must if you've got kids and hate losing their stuff. Label water bottles, clothing, books, toys, sports gear with their trendy and fun designs.  kidecals are crazy durable...dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe, and they don't damage surfaces. Love it.
Waterproof Labels:
The annoying thing about using a sharpie to label stuff is it eventually washes away. Kidecals waterproof name labels are insanely durable and can stick to just about anything...from clothes to water bottles...and stay put through wash after wash after wash. Oh - and pool toys? Done and DONE.
Fun Mustache Stickers:
My kids are crazy for anything with a mustache, and frankly so am I. We love kidecals fun Partystache stickers to use as drink markers, and the Mustache Chalkboard Stickers are a sassy way to label/organize anything in your pantry or craft room. (They're also fun for labeling foods or drinks at a potluck or party!)
Chalkboard Labels that you can write on:
Chalkboard labels are the easiest way to get organized fast without having to create new printed labels from scratch.  kidecals makes the prettiest designs, and their chalkboard labels are super durable and can even go through the dishwasher!
Daycare Labels:
If you have kids in daycare then you know how important it is to label EVERYTHING. kidecals daycare labels are not just super cute, they're dishwasher, washing machine and dryer safe, and stay put on anything from clothing, to baby's favorite lovey to sippy and snack cups.
As seen on the Today Show personalized clothing labels:
kidecals is such a fun site for personalized clothing labels! Now that I'm getting ready to send my kids off to camp, I'm super picky about how I'm labeling everything. Labels HAVE to be waterproof and washing machine safe. No sharpies for me. kidecals clothing labels are crazy durable and I love their cute designs. They were even featured on the Today Show!
Camp Labels:
It's obvious kidecals is founded by a mother of two boys, because not only are kidecals designs amazingly cute er - "cool" for boys, they are super duper durable for all the stuff I need to label for camp. kidecals are dishwasher, washing machine AND dryer safe. They literally do not come off. Ever. kidecals makes the perfect camp labels for this mom, who is expecting her kids to return with every single thing she packed. (yeah right.)
