#bct Things to do in Birmingham with children @bjCC @bct123org

I don't know about you, but I am forever looking for something fun, cheap, easy, and especially local- to do with my kids. Usually when you think BJCC, that is; the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center you think mostly adult themed activities, such as concerts or more recently, Paw Patrol visited there. But it would have been a little costly for the 5 of us to attend . At the tune of about 30 on average or more per ticket; it would've cost us over 150 to all go. I just don't usually have that kind of expendable funds. Like most, I live hand to mouth.
Although it would've been great to take them to that, you might not realize there are more things to do with kids at the BJCC. Today we attended a wee theatre showing that was around ten dollars per person.

This Saturday the 15th kicks off the public showing of the youth play of the Birmingham Children's Theater : Rumpelstilskin.
Showings : September 15th, 22nd & 29th @ 10:00 AM & 12:00 PM

My family got to attend a more private showing this morning, and we were blown away. Very ironically, my child's father and I had a discussion about this Brothers Grimm tale some years ago when I was pregnant  with our first child.
I remarked, "Rumplestilskin will take our first born!" To my amazement he replied "who?" He had never ever heard this fable before. Today I got to watch it with said baby our first born son, who is now 3 almost 4. So strange.

#HolidayGiftGuide KnivesShipFree.com Holiday Gift Ideas for Guys Who are Hard to Shop For #leftHanded or #rightHanded adjustable knife

About the Product
I was sent a Zero Tolerance Hinderer knife. Perfect for us, since I do have little patience and Zero Tolerance. I kid, I kid. But I'm serious too. This has got to be the coolest pocket knife I have ever seen. I have my share of pocket knifes, one I keep on my purse, and one in a sheath in my car. Why? Because, hey- you never know.. This one is way nicer than any I have ever owned. I LOVE this knife!

Anyway this is a "defender" knife a HINDERER, and to me knives are just for that. Defense & hindering. I am, not a big gun person, honestly they scare me, so a knife is perfect for me to defend myself. In addition, it's for more than just defnding yourself. A hunter could use this, or it makes a perfect gift for the hard-to-shop-for man in your life. Husband, father, son.. etc.
It is perfect for a blue collar workman to use on the job.
It has many uses and I love how rigid and just honmestly the quality of it. This particular model I was sent retail for 260$ - though they start as low as 69.95. See more Zero Tolerance knives.

Zero Tolerance knives are built tough enough to meet the needs of military, law enforcement, and other first responders. They'll handle whatever you throw at them, in real-world situations you face every day.
No excuses -- Zero Tolerance.

My Magic Mud #review @My_Magic_Mud #naturalproducts charcoal teeth whitening!

I usually use stock info and website pictures, because I'm not too confident in front of a camera. However, since I started using this product on my teeth I have had nothing but compliments! The pictures are worth a thousand words and really speak for themselves.
My Magic Mud retails for about 25 dollars a jar, but lasts 150 applications. If you went too heavy with usage maybe 100.
My only issue is the mess it makes but it doesn't stain my porcelain sink or counter. Surprisingly it doesn't have a flavor at all and doesn't feel gritty, honestly regular toothpaste is more coarse IMHO.
I always use peroxide and baking soda, even before starting My Magic Mud.
In addition I also use Uncle Harry's so I think the combination of these products had DRASTIC results on my teeth. Keep on mind I drink a pot of coffee a day and I am also a smoker.
Again I used all products mentioned in rotation twice a day for almost three months!!
Here are the pictures!  ORDER NOW.

Unique artwork by Jason Ratliff #walkingShadow is #rightUPmyalley!

Meet artist Jason Ratliff! One of my faves. His lines include Walking Shadow and Float. Which are pretty self explanatory. I found his artwork featured on Fancy and immediately fell in love with the Superman Print.  What I didn't know is there is also a feminine version of it with Superwoman & a little girl. I wanted to buy it for Rowan so bad. I got it! And It looks fabulous in his room.

You can find his art on Curioos and also on his site: Jason-ratliff.com his artwork averages about 20 for a small print to 200 for GIANT prints, plus you can get them on canvas as well. Not only can you get them on acid free paper and canvas or even just framed, but also on a aluminum and acrylic glass print too. I think his artwork is a perfect gift for a gal like me who can be really hard to shop for! Not only is it detailed and unique but affordable and remarkable. I have had countless comments and compliments on this artwork since I hung it in my house.

Really, we are more of batman people, so I probably should have reviewed the batman artwork instead. Check it out!

I love that all the mosaic prints are original and there is also a TMNT print!!! My print is 28x20 and retails 140 on Curioos. The best part is: you can sign up for their newsletter and get a 10% discount usually. Also try searching the web for other sales and discounts for this artist and sites he uses.

The name of my print is WALKING SHADOW: HERO - the feminine version feat Superwoman is called Walking Shadow: Heroine.

He has another line I'm digging on too called FLOAT.

I want to thank him SO MUCH for sending us this print. I am eternally grateful and will be purchasing some more of his artwork very soon!  I suggest you do too! Throw Pillows, Laptop skins, Tshirts and iPhone cases featuring his artwork can also be found on Society6. The link is found on his personal webpage top right corner where it says "SHOP".
Jason Ratliff is from Indianapolis, INDIANA. Designer by trade, artist by heart. He aims to create works that charm. Playful explorations of mixing intricate illustrations of the mundane with smacks of lively bright color that breathe life.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned below for free in hopes that I would review it on my blog. Regardless, all the opinions are mine and I only recommend products or services I use personally.

Vinny Vitos in Moody Alabama

Delicious Italian food, sandwiches and cal-zones and salads. The pizzas; especially the appetizers are scrumptious. Also love the dessert menu, mainly because of the Tiramisu.

In addition the decor is calming and inviting and I am impressed with the lunch specials as well. They have great drink specials all the time, just like their facebook page: Vinny-Vitos-Moody & peep their menu here.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I love that isn't a big chain corporation. There are too many of those and far too few of these.

Today I had a spinach and alfredo chicken calzone for 9.99 that came with salad, it was so big I couldn't finish but half of it.

So if you live in the Birmingham area, you should definitely try this place on for size!
Minutes from I20.

Plus say "Roll Tide" or "War Eagle" today and get 5$ off an order of 25 or more.
Call in for pick up, or better yet: Dine in tonight.

New York style Italian and steaks!

In 1942 Vincent Vitonelli left Brooklyn to serve as a Marine during WWII. As a Marine cook, he discovered that his family's meat sauce recipe was a big hit with his fellow Marines. Vinny never opened a restaurant, but his grandson did. A 20-year background in French and Italian cuisine has shaped the menu of freshly prepared Italian pasta dishes, authentic pizzas, and incredible steaks worthy of his grandfather's name.
From the lasagna, the lobster ravioli, made-to-order calzones, to the hand-cut ribeyes, you are sure to taste the fresh, homemade touch that goes into each entrée. Fried artichoke hearts, eggplant Parmesan, and red velvet cheesecake are just some of the favorites at Vinny Vito's New York Italian and Steaks.
