Unique artwork by Jason Ratliff #walkingShadow is #rightUPmyalley!

Meet artist Jason Ratliff! One of my faves. His lines include Walking Shadow and Float. Which are pretty self explanatory. I found his artwork featured on Fancy and immediately fell in love with the Superman Print.  What I didn't know is there is also a feminine version of it with Superwoman & a little girl. I wanted to buy it for Rowan so bad. I got it! And It looks fabulous in his room.

You can find his art on Curioos and also on his site: Jason-ratliff.com his artwork averages about 20 for a small print to 200 for GIANT prints, plus you can get them on canvas as well. Not only can you get them on acid free paper and canvas or even just framed, but also on a aluminum and acrylic glass print too. I think his artwork is a perfect gift for a gal like me who can be really hard to shop for! Not only is it detailed and unique but affordable and remarkable. I have had countless comments and compliments on this artwork since I hung it in my house.

Really, we are more of batman people, so I probably should have reviewed the batman artwork instead. Check it out!

I love that all the mosaic prints are original and there is also a TMNT print!!! My print is 28x20 and retails 140 on Curioos. The best part is: you can sign up for their newsletter and get a 10% discount usually. Also try searching the web for other sales and discounts for this artist and sites he uses.

The name of my print is WALKING SHADOW: HERO - the feminine version feat Superwoman is called Walking Shadow: Heroine.

He has another line I'm digging on too called FLOAT.

I want to thank him SO MUCH for sending us this print. I am eternally grateful and will be purchasing some more of his artwork very soon!  I suggest you do too! Throw Pillows, Laptop skins, Tshirts and iPhone cases featuring his artwork can also be found on Society6. The link is found on his personal webpage top right corner where it says "SHOP".
Jason Ratliff is from Indianapolis, INDIANA. Designer by trade, artist by heart. He aims to create works that charm. Playful explorations of mixing intricate illustrations of the mundane with smacks of lively bright color that breathe life.

My Review of this movie!

It's amazing how realistic the animation on Pixar films has become. I swear even movies with actual people in them weren't as realistic as cartoons can be today!

The movie starts out good, grabs you by the seat and takes you on a fun, fast paced story that shows you how Mike and Sully actually met and became friends.

This movie was sad, but leave it to Disney to get right to the bottom of your heart and tug on your heartstrings. My kids were completely captivated while watching this movie. I remember hearing it was coming out over a year ago- and being so SO excited. Monsters Inc is one of my favorite "non-princess" Disney films. Even though it is Pixar, it is also DISNEY-Pixar now.
Or maybe it was always. I have a throbbing headache that is about to turn into a migraine.
Somebody call a doctor- a nurse.. heck anybody!
I always thought, wow if they did a sequel to that movie- it would be awesome! SO naturally- I jumped at the chance to review this BlockBuster BluRay set for the girls.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. Disney’s “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.
Download Monstrous Halloween Activities
One of the early concept drawings of an early Mike in college was dated 2008, which goes to show you just how long this Monsters Inc prequel has actually been in development. It’s kind of amazing that we only learned that it would be a prequel story-line earlier this year. To give you an idea of the timeline, Ratatouille was just completed when they began concept work for this film — it was that long ago.

I also heard that Pixar toured actual college campuses to prepare for the story and animation for this movie! Little facts like that are so neat, ot to mention impressive that much work goes into a movie. It's the little details, things you would never think. But it makes sense.

Mom and Dad will love hearing familiar voices of John Goodman, Billy Crystal and Steve Buscemi! My kids kept talking about the movie for days, giggling at parts of it at breakfast the next day over waffles!

In college you meet many different interesting and sometimes strange characters, and MU is no different. There are all sorts of monsters; frat monsters, nerd monsters and goth monsters, as well as an assortment of Monster professors.

Facts about movie found on:"Slashfilm.com"

Well that concludes my review of this 3 disc set, BluRay, Standard Def, and Digital Copy of Monsters University by Disney Pixar, and if you can't tell.. we totally loved it!

If you take our word for it. Buy this movie now! I left links to purchase on Amazon, Walmart & Target!

#BGCMiami 3 episodes left + reunion #spoilers #bgc11 #badGIRLSclub PLUS ranking of my top fave bad girls in BG History!

Source : Wikipedia

Whats left in store for Season 11 (Miami)
10"'Nae, 'Nae Go Away"[39]October 22, 2013TBA
Shanae continues to rub everyone the wrong way, while new girl Mercedies brings a breath of fresh air into the house.
11"Knock Your Socks Off"[40]October 29, 2013TBA
The ladies decide to take action against Shanae when her bad attitude pushes them to the breaking point.
12"Cowgirl. Crapshoot."[41]November 5, 2013TBA
Andrea loses control when she fears she is the next target, while the other girls throw the wildest pool party in Bad Girls Club history.
I feel sorry for this girl Mercedies and DEF for Shanae. I guess it's Shanaes karma for not forgiving Janelle and jumping on the I-Hate-Janelle bandwagon.

And don't get me started about how  I can't wait til the reunion pops off.

I do or have noticed 2 things about BGC fans and shows that I find amusing.

Number one is:

The fans:  Of course being a blogger- I am super active in social media. One thing that get's on my nerves about some of the BGC and Oxygen fans, is unlike me, a lot of the girls that watch ARE self-proclaimed bad girls themselves And most of them surely are!! However, everyone LOVES to talk trash about the show that they are STILL WATCHING in episode 9. Within minutes of posting on Facebook, the BGC Fan Page will have hundreds, and by the next day, thousands of comments, most of which trash the girls. I cant speak, I basically just did the same. But you don't see me spouting off about how "this season is the worst season!!" I see that every episode in hashtags on twitter, and on FaceBook.. and honestly it gets old. OBV you like it enough to comment that you hate it. If you hate it SO much, why are you even STILL watching with 2 episodes left?

At least I admit I love this trashy reality TV show. In fact- I love the girls. There is usually one I cannot stand though. Last season; Valentina. A lot of the time on Social Media, they say the girls are ugly, which most of them maybe not be supermodel hot, but usually are all very pretty. Even in their own way.  Some downright adorable and sexy... it's just mean because a lot of the fans are females who prolly aren't supermodels themselves.  #justSaying.

Even sometimes a girl you think might be unattractive can grow on you if you keep watching the show, mostly because of her personality. I feel that when you live in a house with cameras 24/7 they're bound to catch bad acting or looking moments. Truth is: almost all of these girls are prettier than most anyone we know. They might not dress right- but who are we to judge? I like their styles and attitudes almost always, and get very annoyed at people trashing their looks saying "they're all ugly" or "worst season ever" So please back up a little. If its so bad, stop commenting then. Period, end of sentence. I hate to see what people say about me. So harsh.
Me; but I'm no "Bad Girl"

Number 2 is--
How do the girls not realize each replacement usually gets worse and they were better off before said "new girl". Like - they kick out Sarah; and they end up with Janelle.. who, wasn't bad, but just rubbed them wrong from the get go. So just like Sarah- who didn't really do anything to them either. Sarah did pick a fight w Gigi though.. but it still doesn't make me "dislike her".

They just take a statement and run with it, never forgiving. Ironically though- the group fights and forgives within itself, usually offending and forgiving for far worse crimes against person(s) than the "new girl" they so hate has ever done.
"Oh we hate her because she's new." No you hate her bc you feel like you have to. Or because someone like T or Jazmone is saying they don't like the person, so you never stop to give them a chance. Sadly, such is the way of life- and we all do it to people we work with our NEIGHBORS, ect, etc.

Whether we realize it or not.

You don't have to be best friends with someone  to work with or coexist peacefully with them. You don't have to torture and beat each other either. But I guess they feel like they have something to prove bc they are "bad girls" so it's a recipe for disaster anyway. 7 self-proclaimed bad girls who all live in a house with no men are bound to bump heads!!!  No?

The best moment of the season. Poor Janelle gets jumped and pushed out, but on the way out she splits and "bounces on it" in the driveway before she literally splits. I lovee that moment because it shows that even though they won physically, they didn't beat her mentally. As lame as they say they thought it was, I thought it was bad ass!

It is so addictive and entertaining. My guilty "trashy" pleasure.

I love this show.
I would terribly miss it if it ever went away. yes there is a LOT of drama, but it is interesting to watch, IMO. If you like The Real World or MTVs "The Challenge" you'll love this show. Trust me!!!

I actually started watching Bad Girls Club I think in Season 5 and watched past episodes when they reran marathons on Oxygen (back when I had more than just Netflix and Hulu + ) anyway..I now have to buy episodes on Amazon at 1.,99 a pop. Phhoooey! Almost worth getting back cable, 'cept I "own" them on a cloud. The future has odd terms for stuff. Like I am so silly- I am picturing an actual cloud with a bookshelf that says "Caseys Amazon Episodes" .. LOL.

I never got into the first season too much, so I dk about them too much to make a judgement on them.

Without any further ado   *drumroll please**

Lets get some pics of the Bad Girls I loved most and would love to interview or meet, or see reappear on TV. I miss all of them, see- if I picked a "All Star" cast, these girls would definitely be on it. Some I feel like I personally know. I may not always agree with the things they did or said, but these have been my faves...

Raise a Giant: Stand Up Against Bullying with Green Giant #MyBlogSpark

Bullying is a big thing. I guess I have been naive to it, until it started this year in 3rd grade. Bullying doesn't always mean hands on pushing or shoving, biting, kicking and physical things. Bullying can be words too. A cut from a scratch will heal, and be forgotten about. But bullying leaves a mark on the heart of a young child forever. Words can carry with you, and sting harder than the child, or you; the parent, might think.
I guess there have been little instances peppered here and there. You know: I had one little girl in the same class as my daughter last year fight and bicker with her all the time. I chalked it up to a clash in personalities, because it seemed like a love-hate relationship. Until one day the little girl was telling the other girls she wouldn't be her friend if they talked to her. It made me really angry. I went to school to eat lunch with my daughter the next day because they sat together I asked her why she would say such a thing.. and told her if it didn't stop I would tell her grand mother. Because it was really bothering Gigi.  It got better, it got worse. I never looked at it as bullying, probably because I assumed Gigi wasn't 100% innocent.
Giana (left) ugly... ??? WHERE? Yeah right!!!  That little boy needs his eyes checked.
But this year, the boys are getting older and more brazen and picking on the girls. She came home from school the other day tearful because a little boy in her class has been kicking her, and pinching her, and telling her she's ugly. He even told her she looked like a boy!!  *Gasp!*  SERIOUSLY? How mean!!!  First of all, let me say, there is no way -- no how Gigi looks like a boy. She is gorgeous, she wears dresses, bows and has very long hair. She is VERY girly.  I think I was more offended than she was. I never knew how insulting that could feel, and if it hurt me;I know it REALLY hurt her.
It starts with name calling like that! I called the teacher right away & I let her know about the situation.
