#HolidayGiftGuide KnivesShipFree.com Holiday Gift Ideas for Guys Who are Hard to Shop For #leftHanded or #rightHanded adjustable knife

About the Product
I was sent a Zero Tolerance Hinderer knife. Perfect for us, since I do have little patience and Zero Tolerance. I kid, I kid. But I'm serious too. This has got to be the coolest pocket knife I have ever seen. I have my share of pocket knifes, one I keep on my purse, and one in a sheath in my car. Why? Because, hey- you never know.. This one is way nicer than any I have ever owned. I LOVE this knife!

Anyway this is a "defender" knife a HINDERER, and to me knives are just for that. Defense & hindering. I am, not a big gun person, honestly they scare me, so a knife is perfect for me to defend myself. In addition, it's for more than just defnding yourself. A hunter could use this, or it makes a perfect gift for the hard-to-shop-for man in your life. Husband, father, son.. etc.
It is perfect for a blue collar workman to use on the job.
It has many uses and I love how rigid and just honmestly the quality of it. This particular model I was sent retail for 260$ - though they start as low as 69.95. See more Zero Tolerance knives.

Zero Tolerance knives are built tough enough to meet the needs of military, law enforcement, and other first responders. They'll handle whatever you throw at them, in real-world situations you face every day.
No excuses -- Zero Tolerance.

#sunscreen helps provide relief at #TALBOT #ameliaIsland #CopperToneWaterMom Summer part 2, scene 2.... :-)

 WE LOVE COPPERTONE!  Don't you?

I love being a Coppertone Water Mom. They supply us with a bunch of sunscreen every year, and usually a cool towel. I like this towel they sent better than the last one. The towel is always my favorite part!  Not the sunscreen.. lol. Although I do appreciate the sunscreen, it saves us money really. I love the suncreen sticks they sent this year best because they cannot leak in my beach bag! Small too, but efficient.

My kids have been raised around beaches because we are a military family. That is not to say all Navy/Coast Guard families go to the beach as often as we do.. I just happen to love it and never get tired of it.

Unfortunately- even though we live on the water its an inland, and very marshy. Pretty- but not "beach worthy" in order to get to a beach you can drive north to Brunswick/Jekyll Island, or travel south into Florida to Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island. Its a "touristy" destination with a very CROWDED public beach. Finding a space is hard and there are people everywhere!

Not to mention the water always seems a bit rougher, whether it be high tide or low tide. I do not claim to know anything about tides at all, even though I should living so close to them.... Not enough time in the day I 'spose. Perhaps the location or islands near it make the water break rougher? I do know if you drive past the Omni Resort hotel in Amelia Island (that I have not so successfully tried to be a travel blogger for *sad face*) and past the gorgeous 1mi long fishing bridge (George Crady) you get to Big Talbot State Park and Little Talbot State Park where the water is calmer.

SILLY REAL LIFE CLUBS
Silly, Real-Life Clubs
Catch the All-Star Squad in This Sci-fi Comedy Available on Blu-ray and DVD November 13

Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade take male bonding to hilarious new heights in this outrageous, no-holds-barred comedy that gets funnier every time you watch! There’s trouble brewing in peaceful Glenview, Ohio. That’s why four civic-minded citizens, armed with flashlights, walkie-talkies and spiffy new jackets, have teamed up to safeguard their community. But the guys find more than they bargained for when they uncover an alien plot to destroy Earth, and now these bumbling heroes are Glenview’s only chance to save the neighborhood — and the world — from annihilation.

From secret societies to Neighborhood Watch groups – Here’s a breakdown of some of the most exclusive, offbeat and just plain weird clubs:

Society for Explosives Engineers
This society strives to educate students about careers in mining, specifically mining through use of explosives.  There are lots of field tests and explosions involved in the education process.

The Beefsteak Club
This 300 year old British club was also known as the Sublime Society of Beefsteak.  Their membership caps off at 24; even the Prince of Wales, the future George IV, had to wait until someone died to become a member.  Members gather to eat steak, talk about steak, sing about steak and even wear a funny outfit including a badge proclaiming “Beef and Liberty”.

National Toothpick Holder Collectors' Society
This 700 member society promotes and supports the collecting of toothpick holders, and does research and articles for their publication the Toothpick Bulletin and participates in collector-related events.

Quiet Birdmen
The Quiet Birdmen is a secretive drinking club for pilots known for their boisterous gatherings.   Members, called QBs, must be invited to join, and they join for life. Today, the club's membership, organized into regional "hangars", is made up primarily of retired airline and military pilots, as well as a few astronauts.

World Association of Ugly People
This club was founded in Italy in 1879 and an organization dedicated to fighting for the recognition of ugly people, in a society that places a high value on physical beauty. The group's motto is "A person is what he is and not what he looks like".
Originally started by Italian noblemen and formerly a marriage agency, the club seeks to protect aesthetic biodiversity and combat the media’s portrayal of beauty.

The Ejection Tie Club
To join this club, you’ll have to have survived being fired out of a military plane by ejection seat.  Totally safe, totally normal…and your prize for such a dangerous feat..

Our Moran Theater Elmo Makes Music Experience

Our Moran Theater "Elmo Makes Music" experience was courtesy of USFamilyGuide.com and I sooo appreciated the tickets.
Those who know us well know that my daughter is a HUGE elmo fan.. She got an elmo costume this year for Halloween & almost every toy she owns is Sesame Street related.. so it's only natural we would go!

Read the review of the Elmo Shirt (pictured, above) from Mi Cielo
We went in September, and I gotta admit  I had a great time and I know the kids did too. The show was just the right length, not too long, and not short. I appreciated the long intermission for a bathroom break.

The Moran Theater was really pretty and well taken care of. We had no issues while there whatsoever.

There was no waiting for parking, waiting in long line (expect the bathroom on intermission, naturally) and overall, I think everyone (even the Hubby) had a good time.

I.absolutely loved the concessions (those glazed nuts were FANTASTIC!) and the prices on the Sesame Street Memorabilia wasn't bad either. We bought an Elmo Hat (pictured below!) for like 8$!

I would definitely recommend taking your youngsters to see this show, if you interested, and there are more shows this year!

Look for them here: The remaining shows throughout the end of the year are in TX, KY, AL, & MS!

The Moran Theater is beautiful!
Below I have included pictures of all the things related to the show:
The kids before we left the house that morning, the kids waiting for the show to start, pictures of the show in progress, and of Devonnys MANY "Elmo Toys" and even of her this year Trick or Treating a few weeks ago, in the Elmo Costume we reviewed so many months ago!!!
Hope y'all enjoy them!!!

Special Thanks toSesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music for letting us attend the show.

PS The other pictures at the VERY bottom were of THE USO Sesame Street Show they performed on base this weekend. Unfortunately my military status did NOT get us into that for free, and they sold out within a matter of days, because when I called about it- they were all gone! :(
I wasn't too sad though, since the kids had already seen one Sesame Street/Elmo show this year!!!

This was as close as I got to the Military Show on Base this past weekend.

Mark your calendar for a musical event like no other-monsters making music! Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all their Sesame Street friends are taking to the stage to share their love of music in Sesame Street Live "Elmo Makes Music."
Jenny, an enthusiastic new music teacher, arrives on Sesame Street only to discover that her instruments are missing. Jenny's new Muppet friends quickly come to the rescue and discover 'instruments' they never knew existed...rubber duckies, trash can lids and even cookie jars. Elmo and friends teach children that everyone can make and enjoy beautiful music together.
Adults will hear music they'll recognize and enjoy sharing with children, such as "The Hustle," "You Should Be Dancing" and "Rockin' Robin." "Elmo Makes Music" features nearly two dozen songs, including classics that children will love to sing along with such as "C Is for Cookie" and "The Alphabet Song."
