This Recycler was just what the doctor ordered in this house. Unfortunately my local town doesn't offer curbside service. So we have to gather our own stuff and take it a few miles away. It's incredibly inconvenient, especially since the next town over (a stones throw away) does offer curbside recycling. I have contacted City Hall and they said it's voted out every year. :(
While this makes me sad, it is no reason not to recycle. I just hope the other residents in my town doe not feel the same way and are landfill hogs, not taking anything "down the road" to be re-used and recycled. In fact- we recycle everything! Batteries, motor oil, plastic bags, metal, paper, glass, plastics, and even used clothes and toys, and electronics. 
Since we do recycle so much, and our house is kinda tight on space, I keep our recycled things in the garage. So quite a few times a day, I have to walk out there, after digging things out of the trash that the kids don't know to recycle and separate it out. Now that I have this nifty contraption, I no longer have to do that. The trash can comes apart into two pieces, so even though I have many cans outside for different items, I really only daily (more so than the other recyclables)  have paper & plastic to put out. rarely ever- glass and metals. Since this can is black, like my own other trash can, they match perfectly side by side, so I don't mind so much anymore!

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish Review Bad Romance & Candy Shop

Flat Iron Experts is one of my very favorite go-to all-in-one beauty websites!

I recently discovered an expensive nail polish line called Deborah Lippmann. 

One thing you might not know about this line of polish, is it can sell for up to 26 dollars on other sites. At Flat Iron Experts you can get it for only $19.99! Now that seems a little steep in my opinion, but I guess when you pay to have your nails done all the time, it is still cheaper than going to get a mani/pedi and you can get much more use out of the bottle.  Another reason it costs a little more than what I am used to seeing is it is safer than most nail polishes.

Deborah Lippmann has carefully and meticulously created the long wearing nail lacquer that contains no toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP.  No animal testing.    

This nail polish is long lasting, and I got many compliments while wearing it. Now most women will always want their nails & toes to match, but not me! I do not think it matters too much, I like to paint mine different colors all the time. I appropriately chose two of my favorite songs Candy Shop & Bad Romance. 

Bad Romance is a GaGa Blackened Fuschia  or a sultry dark black color, with big flecks of purple glitter of different sizes in it!  The Bad Romance color would be perfect for Fall &/or Winter, so it will come in handy having it in a few months.

Deborah Lippmann's luxury line of award-winning hand and foot care was created as a result of her working with some of the most iconic figures in fashion - from Cher to Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Posen to Rodarte.

The Candy Shop is a bubblegum pink with multi-colored glitter in it. I put that color on my fingers. Of the two colors, I do like Candy Shop best, and feel it is fitting for the Spring/Easter season.

America’s Favorite Crab Crustaceans: Xia-Xia are Headed to Nintendo DS™ (review)

Xia-Xia is the newest tiny toy craze to sweep the kids we all know and loves life this year! They are sold pretty much everywhere, and they are super cute. Giana has been wanting one, but we don't actually own one yet. When we got the opportunity to review this game, we jumped at the chance. I knew Giana would be tickled pink, and she was. She tore into the game like it was Christmas day with a huge grin and immediately put it in her DS XL and played for a long time. I played with her and she showed me how you have to "swim" through the levels collecting treasures along the way.  Giana had this to say about the game:

" I liked earning new shells and really liked finding the tiny rare things. The game was not too hard, but not too easy. I got to choose which hermit crab I played with and I even got to customize it and dress it too! There were about 6 levels and they all had different scenes .. or backgrounds. If I find all the sand dollars I get to collect shells. I had about 4 I think.  It was super easy to make the hermit crab swim, but you have to learn how to jump the different platforms and swim upwards, but that didn't take too long to figure out.  I liked the game a lot and I can't wait to play it again!!!  "

 The bottle was smaller than I am used to, which might've been good because it encouraged me to use less. I perhaps can go overboard and that might clog your pores.
