"The board book pages are designed for busy babies, toddlers and preschoolers.” My Review: Let's be honest, most children proclaim loudly to be too old for "baby" things, but they still  treasure and cling to their younger days so tightly. For instance, my eldest daughter, Giana  (for whom the book was made for) will say certain cartoon are "too baby-ish for her to tote emblazoned  on her backpack, lunchbox, notebook, ... fill-in-the-blank" BUT, and that's a big but,  she will watch these same characters, flop right down on our couch right next to her almost  2 year old little sister. The reason this is relevant to this review is that even though it is a board  book, she was so happy to get it as an early birthday gift! Bear in mind though, she is teetering  on the edge of not being able to get away with it much longer, as she will be the big seven  this summer. (Going on twenty, of course!)  I wasn't aware it would be so small in size, but it is charming nonetheless. The book is definitely  more appropriate for my youngest daughter,. Devonny, however since she received the last  I See Me book  we reviewed, it seemed only fair that Giana should get the next book. I was  kind-of worried she would proclaim it baby-ish but she didn't! Even though Giana reads chapter  books and is far advanced on her age level as far as reading is concerned, she still smiled and  sat and re-read the book several times and put it on her bookshelf her Daddy made her.  I know that one day she will cherish that book, and hopefully even pass it down to her own  Daughter. But who knows what the future holds?  All I know is, I want to give my little ones the best birthdays I possibly can. If you want to give a  small child a Very Happy Birthday, then look no further than I See Me for your personalizing  needs. I thought this book to be bright, vivid, and entertaining. Printed on quality paper and thick  durable pages. This book is appropriate for children age 1 to 7. The site also offers to set up Birthday reminders, and you can buy  Gift Certificates as well! Bear in mind, this book takes 2 -3 weeks to be printed, so you  would need to order it well in advance. My Very Happy Birthday retails for $24.95, this is the only nail-biter for me. For such a small  book, it's measurements are around 8 in x 8 in even though it's quality is wonderful, I would be  hard-pressed to pay that for any book. Personalized or not.
