I can't help it, I'm a hip-hop fan, and every time I hear this character's name; "MILLI" I start singing Lil wayne: A Milli..
The back of the box |
I have actually reviewed a DVD of this cartoon before, and I know my kids adore this show. I do remember when it first came out a few years back, I wasn't fond of it, but it's funny how much, and how fast it grew on me. I guess you might as well like your kids TV shows, since your subjected to them all day long, the same episodes, over & over & over.. but one thing I have to say, this show doesn't get annoying to me, I actually find myself unknowingly singing along.
(You do that too, right?)
Also, the doll plays the same very cute songs from the show. I love that this show and doll teaches her shapes too! She has learned a lot from the doll and the show already! Gotta love that pre-school learning can be wrapped up into creative or imaginative play, it's a beautiful thing. I think this doll does an awful lot, so that's good, it means, you toddler won't get bored with it too quickly.
She makes learning shapes, numbers, colors AND A.B.C's fun!!!!
I was glad they sent Milli, instead of Geo though. I only wish there was a Bot doll, since he is our favorite character.
One thing she is loud, like most kids toys. I also think she's a tad bit overpriced, but that is probably because she is such a new toy. Surely the price will drop a little bit later on.
Even knowing that, strangely I would pay the 30$ for this toy though, so perhaps I am just cheap frugal.
Perfect gift addition for the small child in your life, boy OR girl!
Since 1930, Fisher-Price has been in business to create toys that fascinate and stimulate a child's imagination. Fisher-Price was founded in 1930, hardly the best time to launch a new business as the shadows of the Depression still loomed over American business. Still, Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to create a toy company and confidently brought 16 wooden toys to the International Toy Fair in New York City. The whimsical nature and magical surprises of those firstFisher-Price toys quickly caught on and became the hallmarks of Fisher-Price ever since. Fisher-Price believes in the potential of children and in the importance of a supportive environment in which they can grow, learn, and get the best possible start in life.
