Newman's Own Organics GIVEAWAY! (9/15)

 

Newmans Own Organics sent me a whole box of stuff. I realized after recieving it I have seen it everywhere, just never bought it. It's actually quite reasonable prices at my local Commissary!

They sent me sooo much stuff, but asked me to only review and giveaway 4 of the items, I guess to not overload you with too much info! Plus I loved that they wanted to give me all the time I needed to post the giveaway. I wish all brands were like that- no pressure. But with some there are deadlines and pressure. I say it all the time, but if you don't blog, you just cant appreciate how mcuh work goes into it.

Anyway moving on to the items I decided to review and offer you as giveaway!

BUT FIRST: 

It's easy to confuse Newman's Own and Newman's Own Organics products. NOO started as a division of Newman's Own in 1993 by Nell Newman and her business partner, Peter Meehan, but became a separate company in early 2001. The two companies have separate lines of products.

I noticed upon opening the box the couple on the cover. I thought I recognized them from the intro sardines  label of DH (Desperate Housewives)

OK, not identical, but you gotta give me that they are extremely similar ...  (resemble them, in my opinion anyway--)

These Peanut Butter Newman O's are so tasty I can't really wrap my head around it. Probably not a good thing to have in the house for someone with a sweet tooth like me. These cookies were my favorite of the cookies sent, and they sent Mint, Chocolate Creme Filled, Hermits, ABC cookies, and gingersnaps...

 We loved these cranberries and used them in our cereal as well as to munch on poolside this summer. Delish and nutritious. Devonny also loved the dried apples slices they sent, but they weren't "dry" they were sort-of moist. The craberries come in a resealable package and everyone knows cranberries are great for your urinary tract.

These Licorice Twists you see above are sooo amazing, they sent every flavor they make! Isn't that generous? My friewnds and I have been gobbling them up since. Giana got to put them in her snack bag for gymnastics camp, and what's funny is they were what I was least excited to see. They have regular licorice, and they have sour licorice, which is coated in tangy sweet (sour) sugar, they taste sinful, way better than the "not-sour" version. The apple was by far the best tasting, but they were all sort-of good. I don't even eat liciorice really. I think the sour packages are remineiscent of sour straws only better, really.

 Wowee, they sent us a sampling of their chocolate and it melts in your mouth and is so creamy, they have a super dark, which I most enjoyed, but I enjoy a strong dark chocolate, they have a mocha milk (The kids favorite) and orange dark chocolate and this espresso flavored bar which I thought you readeres would probably like best. Its grown up chocolate that you don't have to feel as guilty about eating. Dark chocolate is actually very good for you.

There are some amazing snacks, but not just snacks, ORGANIC snacks, so at least when you have food guilt about sugar and calories, it's organic sugars and calories! Ha! I kid!
