Mason Jar Cookie Company *Closed!*! Let your imagination run wild!

Hey guys!
I found the NEATEST site, called Mason Jar Cookie Company!!

Has anyone ever made you a homemade cookie jar present for Christmas? You know, the jar with the flour, and add-ins?

I have received one before, and even blogged about different recipes you can do with them, outside of the original cookie idea.

But I had no idea there was a company that made them and sold them! How neat! I was skeptical that it would be as special as it truly is. But boy was I wrong! The design process is so neat! You really have to go through it to see what I mean. if you have time, you totally should go to their site, and make your own special blend.

THEY HAVE ANY & EVERY ADDITION YOU COULD IMAGINE!

It basically consists of choosing your base and three add-ins, the cost is around 20 dollars. What makes it so cool is the way it comes packaged so carefully and imaginatively
It doesn't look handmade like I thought it would.
It even comes with wooden tags and a little wooden token with your recipe blend number, to make re-ordering easier.

If you are looking for a special gift for an Anniversary, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Get Well, New Baby, Birthday, or anything really..
Because anyone would love this; male, female, young, old, for ANY occasion! I would be tickled to smithereens to get this as a present.

Here's what makes the ordering process so special!

I chose Peanut Butter Cookie Base in Step 1
I chose Toffee & Butterscotch in Step 2
I chose Macadamia Nuts in Step 3
I didn't add any fruit though (below) for Step 4

In the last step, you name your mixture, and add any notes to the recipient. Since I was "giving" it to myself (lol) I didn't add any. I named my cookie mixture LoE Cookies.
(Locomotion Of Expressions ((naturally!))  )

As you can see, different ingredients have different prices. I think it's super neat that you can even add some cereal (if you so choose to) to your mixture. I am a HUGE fan of Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Whoever thought to add Fruity Pebbles to a cookie!@#$? What a NOVEL idea!
I am now forever a loyal fan of Mason Cookie Jar Company and I can't wait to show and share this with my friends!

A Few FAQS you may be wondering about:
" We think how your Mason Jar Cookie Blend looks is every bit as
important as how they'll taste.  So each is presentation quality,
inside and out.  From the moment the shipping box arrives, every
element of the package is designed to delight.
Each unique blend you create is carefully and artistically layered
in its own labeled twenty ounce Mason Jar then sealed for freshness
with a tamper proof plastic neck ring. There is no doubt that each
Jar was your very own creation - the baking instructions, nutritional
ingredients, jar label are all customized with the name and note you
give us - we print these as part of the packaging.  As each blend is
custom, we give it a special blend batch number so that you or your
friends can reorder easily.  Next, our Cookie Artisans place the Jar
and your gift note in a special Mason Jar Cookie Company Shipping
and Storage tube with its trademark metal screw cap. This is
carefully placed in our branded shipping box along with a shipping
label (we never add prices on this label - only From, To and the
contents). The entire presentation package is then shipped off to
its destination - leaving our kitchens every weekday, usually within
48 hours of your order Monday through Friday.  If you need your
order by a specific date, please email us to let us know and we will
do everything we can to accomodate you."
They are so dang adorable!
Is everything included in a Jar of Mason Jar Cookies?
Our Mixes are ready to go with the exception of the dairy products.
Generally you'll need up to a stick of butter and an egg, perhaps a
little milk or water. Some recipes optionally can call for vanilla
extract (many people substitue maple syrup, lemon zest or leave it
out altogether) or in the case of the peanut butter mix up to 3/4
cup of store-bought peanut butter may be added for a particularly
sinful cookie. (Our peanut butter base mix already includes peanuts
and peanut butter chips so the extra calories are up to you). Each
Jar should yield between 24 and 36 cookies depending on which and
how many add ins you have chosen.
What are the baking instructions?
Because each recipe you make is unique, so are the baking
instructions. But, they go something like this: (this is for a Jar
of Oatmeal Chocolate Walnut) Preheat oven to 350º. Place all of the
Jar ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and stir until well-combined.
Place 1/4 cup softened butter, 1 egg, 1/5 cup milk and 1/4 teaspoon
vanilla (if desired) into a mixing bowl and stir until creamy. Add
the dry ingredients into the butter mixture and stir until fully
combined. Drop heaping teaspoons of the cookie dough 2 inches apart
onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until
light golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes and enjoy.
What is the shelf life of a Jar of Mason Jar Cookies?
Your Mason Jar Cookie Blend will last unopened on the shelf for
between six months and a year, maybe more depending on the mix-ins
you choose. But really, we don't think you'll be able to wait nearly
that long to break the seal and bake your batch.
How can I pay for my order?
You may pay for your order with any of the following payment
methods: VISA, MasterCard or American Express.

Our Mixes are ready to go with the exception of the dairy products."

It's so cute, I didn't want to cook it, and honestly, I haven't yet. With out of town excursions and damaged lower backs, I want to be able to really devote myself to fully immerse and enjoy the experience. Giana is begging to make them, but have you ever noticed there is not enough time in the day?
Being a military wife has it's challenges, Namely celebrating holidays WELL after the fact. I was supposed to travel the 8 hours to Birmingham (where our family is from, our hometown) a LONG time ago to celebrate Christmas, but I knew we would miss it because of the submarine's schedule. With my hurt back, and Noah not being able to take off because of Refit, who would have guessed we would celebrate (and travel) Christmas with our family AFTER Valentine's day? Silliness! But I guess I am just thankful we are together!
Fans of LoE (on Facebook) will be delighted to know they will see our pictures of the cookies this weekend on our Fan Facebook page!

Special thanks to Mason Jar Cookie Company for their patience with my busy schedule, and for having the brains and forethought to come up with such a ingenious novelty treat!
