What a great start to my morning!

Look at that sweet little face! How could you not love her? She's all happy boppity giggles this morning when I go get her from her crib. She was being very noisy, so I drag my butt into the next room, half freaking awake.. and throw on her on my hip to drag her to my bedroom to get the kind of sweet cuddles I can only get in the morning. That's pretty much our routine. I get her- we lay in my bed, she plays and loves on me while I wake up. Then when she gets too mad because I have kissed her far too many times- then we go to make her "milky milk" - or as we now call it  "Milk Drinks". So why would this morning be any different?

Pick her up, groggy, half awake and head back to my room. But wait! What is that hanging on her arm? A diaper? I look at it, there's no boo boo in it. I toss it in her bedroom trash.. assuming to myself I'll put one on her when we go downstairs for milk drinks.  We lay down in my bed. Time for some cuddles. Ugh whats that on my hip and leg.. I look down in horror. Absolute horror, waking up quickly now. Oh you already guessed it! It's poop! OH YES! All over her now that I start looking, all over me and now my bed sheets too. I sling off my night clothes, pull my sheet off.. go into her room, yep, sure enough! All over her crib- her sheet.. her crib toys.. even a .... dare I say it? Ok, I'll say it.. she had a chocolate mustache. YUM! SO the picture above is her laughing at me.

Well, she is 15months old.. and she's never done it before. but there's a first time for everything. Hopefully this won't be a recurring everything.

  1. That's happened to me before too. Well, except the "mustache" part. I make the boys sleep with pants on now...
