Review of Teas' Tea by ITO EN - FLAVOR: mango oolong

Coffee and tea.. two of my favorite drinks. I used to drink tea more.. but now am in a huge way for coffee.
ITO EN, a fast growing supplier of loose leaf and bottled teas, has a new TEAS’ TEA® line. ITO EN tea is known its purity, clarity and flavor. The company’s core brand, TEAS’ TEA has offered a popular, unsweetened tea since 2002. Broadening its selection to include Low-Calorie and Classic flavors, the award-winning line will now offer a three-tier option to meet the diversity of consumer demand.

NEW PRODUCT DETAILS
Health conscious beverage drinkers have started a trend toward drinks with less sugar and lighter taste profiles. Bottled teas are a nourishing alternative to highly sweetened sodas and beverages. The new flavors will suit consumers who are interested in combining a variety of tea flavonoids, antioxidants, and other benefits of green tea with the taste of a lightly sweetened beverage. The five (5) new flavors are:

LOW-CALORIE: ALL NATURAL 40 CALORIES PER SERVING
TEAS’ TEA BLUEBERRY GREEN: A clean taste of green tea with the lightly tart taste of blueberries.
TEAS’ TEA LEMON BLACK: Thirst quenching citrus with rich black tea.

CLASSIC: ALL NATURAL 70 CALORIES PER SERVING
TEAS’ TEA CRISPY APPLE: An American classic of black tea and rich, natural apple flavor.
TEAS’ TEA COUNTRY PEACH: Black tea with natural peach flavor is a classic combination.
The one I got to try was:
TEAS’ TEA MANGO OOLONG: A full taste of oolong tea with the bright, tropical taste of mango.
AWARD-WINNING UNSWEETENED: ALL NATURAL 0 CALORIES PER SERVING

TEAS’ TEA PURE GREEN: Sencha green tea—pure and clean.
TEAS’ TEA GREEN JASMINE: Green tea with natural Jasmine flowers—fragrant and delicately sweet.
TEAS’ TEA GREEN WHITE: A blend of Green tea and Rare White tea—light and elegant.
TEAS’ TEA LEMONGRASS GREEN: Green tea with natural lemongrass—zestfully fresh and invigorating.
TEAS’ TEA ROSE GREEN: Green tea with natural rose petals—soothing and gently sweet.
TEAS’ TEA MINT GREEN: Green tea made with select, real peppermint leaves.
TEAS’ TEA GOLDEN OOLONG: Fine oolong tea—a robust flavor and beautiful aroma.
My opinion:
Although tea is much better for you than coffee, because it contains much less caffeine, I do love my coffee. But a lot of people love decaf things. (I don't much care for them myself) and prefer tea's to coffee because of the anti-oxidants found in tea help fight free-radicals and aging. Personally, and you know I never lie to you guys about products; I thought the tea was nice.  I would have definitely had more nice things to say had I received the jasmine tea. Which I tried to tell their PR..... As green tea & jasmine flavored tea is my very favorite tea. To be honest- I don't much care for mango tea. But it wasn't nasty at all! It was fruity and I appreciated it's health benefits as opposed to sugary soda. It wasn't mango-y to me. At least not in the fake artificial flavored mango way that I have come to expect from things that are labeled mango. So that being said- if you are opposed to mango, you might actually be able to stomach this. The tea's color was pristine and not cloudy. Not too rich, not too watery. It had a very nice fragrance and aftertaste. The best part is only 40 calories per serving! Sweet!~I guess in order to try the jasmine, I will have to seek it out and purchase it myself! I would have loved to try all the flavors and been able to give you more of a detailed review on the new line. But that is all I was sent. So I do not know about the other flavors. But here is some info I scrounged up online about them for you. (below)
On their website: there is a ton of things for sale. They really sell it all! http://www.itoen.com/teas-tea.html
Shirts, recycled material made pens & totes (They sent me one of the reusable totes, pictured below), there are gift sets for the tea-lover in your family. There are loose bulk teas, tea-bags, tins, flowering teas (which I love!) and also tea-ware.. such as pots, strainers, glasses, and mugs.

Even more so me being tickled by the jasmine tea..then I was especially delighted to note that they also sell Matcha tea. I don't know if you guys have tried it.. and I don't brew it the way it is instructed to.. but it is delicious and far more nutritious than other teas! Perhaps Ito En will let me review a Matcha tea in the future!
Don't forget to "like" Ito En on Facebook too! (right now they are offering a .35 off coupon on their page!)

My closest location sold is the Harris Teeter in Fernandina, FL. It isn't that far- but it can always be shipped!
Where is yours?

We realized that our unsweetened teas still posed too much of a hurdle for many consumers,” says Rona Tison, senior vice president of corporate relations for ITO EN. “By expanding our offering to a three tier option, consumers monitoring their calorie-intake will now have choices that are not only delicious, but are better-for-you beverages with a multitude of health benefits. Rich in Vitamin C and tea polyphenols (EGCG- Catechins) TEAS’ TEA® will quench your conscience.” The new TEAS’ TEA® flavors will retail for $1.79 and are available at natural and mainstream markets nationwide.
BETTER PLASTIC, BETTER EARTH ITO EN teas are bottled in environmentally friendly, non-leaching recyclable BPA-free bottles (16.9 fl oz) The Readyto- drink teas, such as Oi Ocha and TEAS’ TEA are packaged in plastic (PETE1) Bottles, which can be recycled, or made into egg-packs, fiber, tote bags, clothing, furniture, carpet or other items. In fact, recycled PETE bottles are even used to make uniforms for ITO EN sales force in Japan. Reducing packaging has always been a central goal for ITO EN, achieving amazing results by continuously reducing the bottle’s mass. This year, the individual bottles are lighter by 0.16g than last year. A distinct leader in this regard, the bottle is one of the lightest in the beverage industry. By choosing plastic bottles over glass, the company has been able to ship more tea in individual shipping trucks, resulting in savings in fuel expenses and emissions."
I  love that they are environmentally conscious.
