Would I reccomend it? Yes!

What I thought? Initially, I thought, OK, Giana is super smart, but barely 6, and this looks a little complicated for her to figure out on her own. So, I made a little party of it, and invited her friends over (they are a little bit older- 7 & 8 years of age) I thought that it is a lot of over-the-top-info in the book. I think that the kids assumed that it would be hard to figure out and got discouraged at first. Possibly a little overwhelmed by so many instructions, which weren't exactly "kid-friendly". In fact, I couldn't figure it out either.. My husband had to! :)

What Giana Thought "At first before I played it, I thought that it would have big jewels that snapped in jewelry, but I still thought it was cool. I thought it was kinda hard to use."

Product Strengths Can keep kids occupied and encourage creative play with other children. Is a "snap" (get it? I made a pun!) once you figure it out. Not too expensive, not too cheap.. Has lots of accessories to make each one unique to its creator, besides just fabric. No sharp objects or messy materials required. Clean up was a breeze! The jewelry looks super cute, and can be changed out for different color fabrics to coordinate what outfit you are wearing!

Product Weakness & Room for improvement?
Yes. There aren't enough snaps or fabric. By snaps I mean There are many to make your own, but I am not sure people have just random fabric laying around. There are only FIVE of the necessary components to snap in to jewelry. I guess the point is you are supposed to snap it in and out to change it. But the problem I ran into with Giana's friends is that the one little girl wanted four for her bracelet. So when the other little girl took one for her ring, there were no more.. :( Thankfully, one of them just lives next door, so we were able to get one of them back so Giana would have ONE for her necklace. Point is, were it to get lost? She wouldn't have one at all. Then I would be stuck ordering another kit. Thats the only REAL complaint I have.
... And it took a minute ((OK, 10)) to figure it out.. :)
Lastly- I had issues with the transfer paper fonts. I got one to work perfectly, but after that could not seem to perfect it. It half rubbed off (at best) & ruined a few peices of fabric and there wasnt a bunch to spare.
